Osaka Izakaya — Pattaya, Thailand

MENLABO Sakaba

Tonight, we drink.

Drag across the page — the ink will bleed.

Our Story

In Awaza, Osaka,
there was a small ramen shop.

Chicken broth, no MSG.
A bowl built fresh every day,
with nothing cut short.
That obsession crossed the sea
and landed here in Pattaya.

Long-time residents.
Travelers passing through.
People who fell for Thailand and stayed.
We're here to make a place where,
at the end of the day, you can say:
"Now that was a good night."

The "LABO" in MENLABO means laboratory.
No two days taste the same.

A diner by day. A tavern from three.

Midday

Lunch

Eat properly, like a real teishoku joint.
Extra rice, on the house.

From eleven, until three.

3 p.m.

The noren changes. From here, a tavern.

First round

Small Plates

Start here.
Everything's made to go with a drink.

Add a plate of gyoza — changes everything.

Second round

Drinks

Beer, ice-cold

Fresh from the tap

Yes, we pour. And yes, ramen too.

Behind the bar: someone who's
run his own places, and a 25-year
veteran who trains the pros.
Real izakaya people.

So no — we can't cut corners.

To finish

Ramen

No MSG.
Just chicken, water, and patience.

The bowl after the drinks is always the best.
